Not sure why you need the washcloths / face flannels, cos we do have those here.... but i agree with New Dawn on the sheets.  I always buy a few sets of sheets when i visit the USA... i like the prints/patterns/colours available over there.

there is no reasoning for the washclothes other then there were alot for $4.99 so in the cart they went..lol.... I am bad I know,  but it was a bargain..hehehe

anycase if all goes well on Tuesday,  then Tuesday afternoon I am going to start sending things over...the only thing were flying over with is our clothes..I will have all the stuff were taking with us on it's way with in a week from getting the visa and then I just hope it gets there in a timely manner...I know when we send x-mas present over there in years past they usually arrive in a week from the date we send them so I am thinking it will be about the same?

really the only thing I am taking with us is decoarations, my art, personal pictures, and my dh is insisting he send over his dvd, surround sound equipment..other then that everything else is staying behind.  and some of my favorite nic nacs....were essentially going to be starting over completely..I found it would be cheaper to just buy new furniture over there opposed to sending ours as the cheapest I found to ship it was $4.00 for every pound of furniture..this would cost loads so were just gonna rebuy things over there..

again thanks for all your great advice!! :)

We sent a baby bassinett last year this time and we paid the Premium price of over $100.00 to be here with 7-10 days and it arrived the same time that we sent our big boxes, that we shipped normal delivery...........7 WEEKS later.........It arrived the day before our boxes did........I don't think big parcels come as quickly as the boxes you might have posted...

You might not get it as quickly as you would like........just to warn you..

when you ship make sure you address it like below

Mr. D TBA
17 Strand Street
Douglas
Isle of Man
IM2 4PP
United Kingdom

If you just address it to the IOM they would have a hard time finding it. always put it to the UK.....

Big packages can take a long time, I wouldn't waste money sending them airmail or anything premium or quick as they still take as long as regular.

Good luck with your move!

PS - Don't you just looove a bargain?  :)
