My FLR (Sept 03) and ILR (Sept 05) are both in my maiden name, as that's the name on my passport.

I got my FLR in person just over a year ago and it's just a stamp - no sticker - so there's no name attached to it but just an ugly black stamp in my passport....

(This was in response to EnglandsYank's last post, forgot to hit quote)

Yes but my particular thing is that there are two names "on my passport"

1. My ex-name, which at the time I got the passport in 2002 was my legal name so that is what is on the photo page
2. My current legal name (which is my maiden name) that I has the passport amended to reflect in 2004, so that is relected on the official amendment page 24

Don't know why I'm even letting something this stupid bother me really.  I suppose it's cause I'm kicking myself for being naive and dumb in 2001 and not changing back to my maiden name when I got divorced, would have avoided the issue altogether (not to mention saved me some cash in 2004, it's damm expensive to change your name in Massachusetts other than by marriage/divorce).

Since theres two names in your passport I'm not really sure. If I were in your situation I would enclose a note with the FLR stating there are two names, point out the amendment and request the name on the FLR to reflect it

Yeah, definitely going to point out the amendment.  I mean I don't care if it's in my maiden name (as we won't have enough time for me to get a new passport before we'd need to apply) but the thought that it could be in my ex's last name bugs me. **shrugs** ah well, I guess if this is as Bridezilla as I get it's not bad  :)

I can relate, the day after my divorce I went straight into having everything in that name changed back to my maiden name. I even wanted to get an extra copy of my divorce decree ,frame it and hang it on the wall because I was so proud I got divorced from him lol
Fortantly I applied for my passport after the divorce. No way would I want to be stuck with my exhusbands last name. I still get bothered when I have to put that last name on forms where it asks if I had any other names besides my maiden :P
