Some points to remember.....

When dealing with UK immigration......
There seems to be a policy of make up therules as they go along.....
English is about the last language spoken by the staff.....
Staff training in answering the phone is still ongoing....
If you are a single parent one legged lesbian with terrorist tendancies you got to the head of the line.......

I'd hafta say that I agree with all of that.  I called the L.A. office a few times to ask some questions about some things that I wasn't quite sure on and they were quite rude.  Just a side not...DON'T call at like 11:50 as they go to lunch at exactly noon and they'll rip yah a new one if you call then and it seems like you'll be on the phone over their lunch break.  Heaven forbid
