My fiance visa documents
« on: October 22, 2005, 03:07:49 AM »
Hello everybody

I will be applying my visa in around first week of Dec and getting prepared early lol. This is what I got so far after I apply online and tell me if I'm missing anything. Thanks.

VAF2 Settlement Form
My Birth Certificate
my 2 passport Photos
My Fiance's letter of employment
Her birth certificate
Her Passport. <---Can I photo copy her passport or just the original?
Her divorce certificate
My passport
Her and mine letter of intent to marry
My flight stubs, emails, phone bills, 3 photos of us together,
Mine and her bank statements
Her tenancy letter of her house
My CV
I think I need a $12 money order for the shipment back right?
Thats what I got planned so far. Also, do I need a letter from the place we will get married at? We are not sure on a date yet. Thank you

Are you paying online? I think if you make an online payment, it includes the return postage in that fee. You'll need her original  passport, or a certified copy (I believe).

I think that's right..
I am a Mrs! =)

yes samurai is right,  you would need her passport or a certified copy of every page in her passport, even the blank ones.  I'm not sure about your money order question because I paid online and went in person. But I think I do remember saying you would have to add the fee. And yes,you will need a letter from the place where you will be getting married, just basically saying you and your missus will be getting married on such and such date. If you are getting married at a registry office, they don't provide letter,so just a letter from you or her just stating you will be getting married at the registry office in (town name) on or around (a date). and that will be sufficient. Oh,and a letter from her stating she will be financially supporting you until you are able to work won't hurt either ;) And another thing, if she is renting her house ,you'll need a letter from her landlord stating he/she is allowing you to stay there
