Chocolate Milk
« on: October 24, 2005, 06:25:44 PM »
I bought some chocolate milk from Morrison's yesterday (the pre-mixed, ready-to-drink kind)... it's so yummie!  ;D

Its sort of heavy, like whole milk, but not as slimy as bottled milkshakes like "Frij" or whatever.   :P
I'm not a fan of full-fat milk (unless its hot & in a cappuccino) so I diluted mine with a bit of skimmed milk, and it was lubly.

Best chocolate milk I have had in England yet...!   ;D  (cheap, too!)

(It is their store brand, btw.)

sounds good!! now I am missing the hersheys chocolate syrup! A bit off the subject, but on a visit back home a few months ago, my son absolutely LOVED Horchata. The mexican rice sweet drink. My mom had ordered some at a mexican takeaway sort of place, and my son drank all of hers, so we had to order more. I've looked for recipes to make it, and when I attempted it, it didn't turn out at all like the real stuff! I'm not giving up though!!

Hershey's syrup is like one of the only things I ask people to bring back for me.  You can find it in Selfridge's if you get really desperate.

My kids love that chocolate milk stuff from the supermarket.  They drink it by the gallon.   :)

I've so been craving Chocolate Milk.  I bought some Nestle Strawberry quick instead though.  I saw it and had to have it!  They have banana too!
