Back home with baby

I just got home not too long ago,baby Courtney was born October 23rd at 4:13am. I had to have an emergancy C-section, her heartbeat dropped down to 7 beats a minute during my contractions and they couldn't wait for me to go in labor since I was only 6cm dialated at the time. I was put asleep, so don't remember the delivery,  But she is fine,they couldn't find a reason for her being in distress during labor, I put it off to her being stubborn once again ;). I'll post some pictures once I get them back from the hospital ;D Thanks for all the posts :)

ps- No one told me how bad it hurts to laugh or cough after a c-section :o :o :o

Welcome home!  Glad to hear Courtney is doing well.  Now just take care of yourself and enjoy her!  :)

Congratulations!  You got home awfully fast for a section.  Take care and let your hubby spoil you rotten, you deserve it!  How big was she by the way?

Congrats hon... looks like you got a Scorpio after all ;)   You kept talking about her being Stubborn and we are known for being stubborn and hardheaded :D

I bet she is lovely..........



Press a pillow to your tummy..........lay it long ways and if you feel like you need to cough...press in on the pillow and bend over it a little.........it helps...it also nice to be able to lay baby on...

She weighed 7 lbs exactly and she is 49 cm long. ;D
Shes gorgeous! I know every mum says this, but I really do think shes the most gorgeous baby in the world. :)
