Thank ya everyone, ...she must get her looks from her daddy lol ;D

She is just now letting us sleep!, Up until this morning she needed comferting 24/7 which meant we couldnt put her down in her cot without her crying, she always wanted to be held. But we just broke her of the habit this morning.
I love just looking at her when shes asleep shes so precious, she smiled for the first time today too and shes only 4 days old! ;D

I'm curious about the name Aeryn since I've never seen it before. How is it pronounced (like Erin?)? Does it mean something?
Yup its pronounced like Erin, I seen the name spelled that way in an article I was reading about a tv show and I just fell in love with the spelling.

What you said reminded me of a poem my best friend sent me when Izzy was born.

Brand New Little Daughter

~ by Linda Lee Elrod ~

She´s your brand new little daughter,
so enchanted, sweet and smart.
With a coo, she´ll have you smiling
With a laugh, she´ll own your heart.

It´s the time for hugs and kisses,
Reassurance when she cries.
It´s the time for making moments
Full of love and Lullabies.

For these golden days of childhood
come and go so very fast -
Hold her tight and love her dearly.
Make these preciouse moments last.

I left on the 3rd day, they wanted me to stay 4 days but I convinced them both me and baby would be much more comfertable at home. The room itself wasn't that bad, I had my own private room and bathroom , but it just did my head in being there all day long. Got my stitches out today, got a nice lil scar, lol.

Oh and I officially have no pride left after being in that hospital bed with that tube in me to stop me from using the toilet. (I forgot what its called now ???) and the midwives having to come in and clean me every few hours :-[ lol

She's a beauty!  Congratulations!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
