Peppermint patties - Try Fry's Peppermint Cream bars, they are like Peppermint patties if they were a bar of chocolate instead of a disc. And they are G.O.O.D.! ;D

I didn't know that either. It's a bit of a freak show these days with packaged food. How many different ways can you sell a candy bar? Apparently we haven't exhausted them all yet!  The Pringle-like candy bar "Swoops" blew my mind.  :-\\\\

Oh wow! I like Jelly Belly's but not that much!  :o I'll bring some from here when I visit, just wondered if they were readily available there, trying to find something a bit more novel. Thanks!

Yep!  You'll find them in the nicer department stores...usually in those gift-type boxes where you get a little handful of each flavour.  Fenwick's has a fantastic display here -- you can scoop out whichever flavours you want into little baggies...and they have the sugar-free ones, too!   :D

Jelly Bellys are also to be found in Woolies and you can join the Jelly Belly Club at http://www.jellybelly-uk.com/ so you get a free little bag and new flavours every month or so.

Oh and a discount and
um

yes.. we are a bit obsessed in my house with them....

We have a Jelly Belly dispenser!

Ok haha guess I don't have to worry about finding them there, will have to see if I can come up with some other candy from here to bring the little ones next week. I brought lots of Tootsie roll assorted candies last time so was looking for something different that's not common there.

Being the chocolate and peanut butter fanatic that I am, I thought I'd mention the Little Debbie snacks someone mentioned are called Nutty Bars.  We'll be moving to Scotland this summer and already I'm making a mental list of what candies to ask my family to send over. lol
