Great News
« on: October 28, 2005, 09:06:01 AM »
For those who are familiar with the fact that my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer last month and sent supporting PM's I wanna say thanks. This was discovered through a routine mammogram of which the results were sent to a specialist for further interpretation. A tumor was discovered and validated as malignant through a biopsy. Three weeks after the discovery of the tumor she was hospitalised and the tumor, along with some lymph nodes were removed. Yesterday we met with the surgeon and the cancer specialists for the results and got some great news....the tumor was of the Grade 1 type and the lymph nodes were determined to be clear....bottom line.....with radiation treatment and an HRT regiment she's gonna be fine. To say the least, it's been a surreal six weeks for both of us. This cancer was caught in time through a routine mammogram and from start to finish the NHS breast cancer specialists  dealing with us have been nothing short of compassionate and brilliant. Again, thanks to everyone that sent good vibes our way.....life is wonderful.

Woohoo!!!  Fantastic news!!!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Glad to hear that things are moving along so smoothly.  That's quite a scare to get.  I hope she continues to have great care and things work out well.
