Why go to the Carribbean though?  Thats somewhere you go when you live in the states!  Def. go for somewhere new. Canaries are nice that time of year too - definitley check out www.iberostar.com

Ok..lets see..I've pulled out my office copy of Sandals...

You have Several in Jamaica

3 in St. Lucia
1 in Antigua
1 in the Bahamas

it looks like Virgin flies direct into Antigua from Gatwick and all the other ones as well....

There is a virgin brochure strictly for Sandals....

Sweet!

Because that my dear is what the "MAN" wants.  ;D

Also, when is Hurricane season ending?  End of Nov?  Is it rainy season after?  When we go to Puerto Rico in late Dec it's rainy, but not so bad.

Oh sorry - I thought you were looking at Spain!!

Hurricane season ends at the end of November (Nov 30).

Secrets resorts are really nice - they are ultra-romantic with jacuzzis in the room etc!  I know there are some on the Dominican republic, but I think Nov/Dec is the rainier season there....

Thanks, we were at first, but sometimes my ideas are way different then Rich's.  (We should maybe talk more)

Just got this email from Rich!  I have no words for what he says at the top!

Sandals Royal Caribbean is renowned throughout the Caribbean for its refinements and British traditions of a bygone era, such as high tea and continental breakfast in bed. And just offshore, Sandals' own exotic private island features a pool with a swim-up bar, a secluded private beach and the authentic Royal Thai restaurant where some of the dishes are rumoured to be aphrodisiacs.

xx R

Looks pretty good, no?

For £1229 per person I'd go to the maldives or seychelles or mauritius though!!  Not sure about weather that time of year...but if he is gonna splash out...may as well go somewhere you may not go again!!

just my two cents!!

Right, we are off tomorrow on our holiday!  I just know I have forgotten something!  Oh well, hoping they have a good store at the resort, and they will do virgin Pina Colada's, oh and I don't look too scary in my bathing suits!  (I have no one pieces, maybe I'll buy one there?)

Have a great week, I'll report back the Tuesday I am back!

(Thank you again Shell!!!)
