In my search of this site, I see that they also offer an 'American' style peanut butter made by the same company.  Said to be sweeter which comes from ... apple juice!  How interesting. 

Apple juice is often used as a sweetener in the states... cheap and readily available!

Mindy - I think you're right about buying American peanut butter for sandwiches or regular eating but using Sunpat for baking. I think that's sort of the idea I was getting at with the original post.
