"When the Levee Breaks"--Led Zeppelin

It has the following lyrics, which couldn't apply more to my life than right now.

"Cryin' won't help you,
Prayin' won't do you no good,
Cryin' won't help you,
Prayin' won't do you no good.
When the levee breaks,
Momma, you have to go,
Whoo-hoo."

"The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is to love
and to be loved in return"

a song so bad, so irritating and cheesy and horrible, that i cant even name it for fear of it being even more etched into my psyche than it is now, thanks to bloody Ken Bruce playing it on Radio 2 18 painful hours ago...  [smiley=behead.gif]

Masses Against The Classes - Manic Street Preachers

'The masses against the classes
I'm tired of giving a reason
When we're the only thing left to believe in
We love the winter
It brings us closer together'

Thursday morning, I woke up with this in my head - Elvis Costello's Tokyo Storm Warning.  I think because Steve sings it to me sometimes:

She's the sweetest and the sauciest
The loveliest and the naughtiest...
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

- from Anthem, by Leonard Cohen (b 1934)
