Yeah, it seems some films get so much hype that when you finally see it, you think...what? Kind of like "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"....so much hoopla about it when it came out. When I saw it, I thought....yeah it was ok. As for Little Miss Sunshine I wanted to see it when it was first released into the cinemas but you have confirmed my thoughts because of the hype....it will probably be a bit of a let down. I definitely won't buy the DVD now but if its on Sky for free, I will record it.

We have two subtitled foreign films waiting for us (one Spanish, one German)...but I have been boycotting watching them on our tiny TV any longer - as I cannot see the subtitles without sitting on the (hard, cold) floor right in front of the tele.  Therefore, this has finally pushed DH over the line & we are going to buy a new TV this afternoon!!!  Yaye! ;D

LOL, yay Carolyn!  Glad to hear you're getting a bigger tv.

Yes!  We've got it!  It's not huge - only a 26" LCD one, but still a vast improvement over the tiny old-style TV we had.  It's weird that all the TVs now are so thin!  Updates on DVDs watched to come soon... :)

Borat

My Dh saw that as well he thought it was good, but said I probably wouldn't want to watch it. he knows me all to well, I personally don't have any desire to watch it but thats just me. obviously it isn't all that bad it won a few awards.

I'm going to watch Memoirs of a Geisha, that I recorded on my Sky+ box last night. I heard that was a really good movie.

We bought Borat and watched it again last night.  First time for the boy to see it and of course, he loved it!
