Closer.

I was dreading it, as I'd seen the play years ago (with Clive Owen!), and remembered being terribly depressed afterwards.
Thought the movie was a bit more watchable, still fairly depressing, but the acting and writing is tremendous.

I just tried to watch 'Sophie's Choice' that we got as a freebie in a newspaper, but it doesn't have subtitles for the LONG segments in Polish and German! I got disgusted with it and took it out.

Never mind, eh!

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Last night I watched Kontroll and Look at Me. Would recommend either if you're a foreign film fan.

I grew up two doors down from the director of Kontroll!  I thought it was a great film, especially visually.  Can't wait to see more from him.

Oh cool! Yes, it was interesting visually and chock full of symbolism. The guy with conflict induced narcolepsy was interesting and my fave part had to be the scene in the psychiatrist's office.  ;D

I loved that scene, too.

So weird, one day you're playing GI Joe in the backyard with someone and the next thing you know they do something like this.  :)

Frosty the Snowman!
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Frosty the Snowman!

Ooh, I've missed watching that one! I have seen Frosty or Rudolph since 1999! And I can't seem to find copies of them anywhere! My sis and I used to watch them every year in the run up to Xmas. :)[/color]
