Already had seen it in cinema, but we got the dvd last week since we liked it so much!

Stranger Than Fiction

They filmed part of the movie where we were living at the time in a building called River City.  It was cool to see it on screen.

A Good Year with Russell Crowe.  Interesting premise, but so boring we stopped watching 3/4 of the way through.

I think of it as up there with Sophie's Choice/Schindler's List/Saving Private Ryan... brilliant films about horrible things that I probably couldn't sit through again, but glad I saw it the one time.

Oh definitely! I knew the gist of the film, but this was my first time seeing it. I guess I just didn't imagine it would affect me as much as it did.
