Goodbye Bafana - really nice little film.

Single Santa seeks Mrs Clause. I thought it was cute it had Steve Guttenberg & Crystal Bernard in it.

We finally watched 'It's A Wonderful Life'.  DH had been avoiding it all his life--I think I've converted him!  He loved the bit with the bartender opening and closing the til and yelling, 'Get me!  I'm givin' out wings!'  ;D

Pirates - At Worlds End - Not as bad as I thought, better then the second one.

Oooh, and Eastern Promises - very good, graphic in places and the naked fight scene is pretty intense.

We've seen several DVDs since I last posted on this thread...

It's a Wonderful Life
Lord of War
The Wind that Shakes the Barley

And last night, we watched the DVD that came with Steve's new CD (for Christmas) Chavela Vargas Cupaima -- the DVD being called A Chat With Chavela Vargas.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

- from Anthem, by Leonard Cohen (b 1934)
