Hitman (the unrated version) - A well-made international action film with lots of shooting and blood.  Timothy Olyphant and Dougray Scott were perfect for their roles.

Hmm...Dougray Scott-I love him! I take it he's better in Hitman than that US tv show he did about a group of thieves? I mean, why hire Dougray Scott and then force him into a bad American accent? Women in the US would have LOVEd his real accent!

I know exactly what you mean.  I was excited to see him on Desperate Housewives and he looks just as good now as he did years ago when he played the prince in Everafter.

Last DVD I watched was "Me, You and Everyone We Know".  I had seen it in the cinema when it first came out, and I thought it was even better the 2nd time I watched it (a few days ago), except for the element of surprise that was missing the second time around.

Lords of Dogtown. The only Heath Ledger movie I hadn't seen. It was fabulous! Written by one of the original Z-boys from the documentary Dogtown and Z-boys. The DVD extras were  awesome-the original guys talking about what it was like in Venice Beach in the 70's. I'm not a skateboard fan, but I found the story of how it all came together fascinating. Especially interesting was how they hired skateboarding cameramen to get the close-up action shots.

Sad to see Heath and remember he's gone, though. :(

That's probably the first movie I watched with my husband when I first came to the UK to visit him!  We both really liked it.

I recently saw Reign Over Me.  I thought it was really good and was surprised to see Adam Sandler in such a serious role.  I thought he did a really good job.

I loved this movie.  I even bought the documentary after watching it.

I thought the same thing when I saw it.

Last night we watched Once Upon a Time in America which is my all time favourite movie ...followed by The Godfather which I can't believe I've never seen!

I haven't seen that movie in a long time. I wish I could remember if I liked it. I think I liked parts of it.  I remember not really liking the lady artist at the end so much. Oh well. The little kids were pretty cute though.

Just watched Miller's Crossing.

I am scared to see that one.  Dogtown and Z-Boys is one of my favorite documentaries.

I've never seen The Godfather, either!

And speaking of Adam Sandler, I've got to find a recording of "The Chanukah Song" (online somewhere, maybe?) since  my hubby's never heard it!
