Is it violent?  I taped it, but am afraid to watch :-[  (I'm not keen on violent movies, or books for that matter, they give me nightmares :()

It is really violent and I usually really HATE violent movies.  So, it might give you nightmares.  It's good though.

NOOOO!!!!!!!!  It's so good and Colin Farrell, who I normally hate, is a revelation in this!!! It's only got two slightly, ever so slightly violent bits...okay three. Very quick though! And not really that violent - just a bit of gunshot.... and one splatter.

Cant you just shut your eyes for a nano-second??!!!??!!???!!!  Some classic one liners in it  :P  (all said in a sexy Irish accent...)

I don't like violence in movies either, but I loved "In Bruges."  I have come to the conclusion that if a story is well-told, then a bit of violence that is integral to the story is  more tolerable than movies where violence is just done as an excuse for special effects gore.

I was the same way with History of Violence.  I really liked it but I usually run a mile from violent movies. And the Bourne movies.  I like them despite them being violent.

See, I can watch the Bourne movies, no problem!  Weird!  Maybe Matt cancels out the violence for me :D

Wow, good memory there - leave it to a woman to recall such pertinent details accurately!  ;D

I am still watching The Painted Veil - really like it so far.  The two lead actors are on top form.
