Pride and Prejudice - the one with Kiera Knightly and dreamy Matthew MacFayden... now I understand why my coworker goes on about how hot he is...  :P
I liked it... but it's the only film adaptation of the novel that I have seen, so I might check out the others if anyone thinks they are better....

Also, Hot Fuzz (liked it, was totally in the mood for it) and The Straight Story upon Anne1982's recommendation. I liked that one, too!

Apparently the BBC version is far better.

We most recently watched Jarhead and one of my faves - The Big Lebowski...I might have to get it to own.  :D

(I thought the BBC mini-series version of Pride & Prejudice was a lot better than the Kiera Knightly film version.)

I think the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice is best because it has more time to tell the story.   The movie version has it virtues, to be sure, but I think it was really limited by time constraints.

Thanks again for the recommendation.  I can always count on you;-)

BTW, I had already seen Splinter.  I've watched so many horror movies I sometimes forget the ones I have seen.  It was good.

Its good to know that there is someone out there who shares the same film tastes in scary, creepy, thriller violent gutz and gore  ;D ;)

I once read somewhere that if you can watch these types of films without being really effected by them, that you have a very healthy mind.

So there you go!  :)

About to pop in Righteous Kill. Will let you know how it is.

Disappointing.

Keira Knightley. Hot. IMHO.

She looks like a troll - every role the same troll-faced expressions.  And she needs to eat a sandwich too.  IMHO.

And I thought it maybe had an 'e' but I could not care less and couldn't be bothered to look it up.  :P

There is something weird about the way she pronounces words that I find very distracting.

Neither one of y'all is in the target demographic.  ;)

We most recently watched Jarhead....

Love Jarhead.  Captures the boredom part of being in the military perfectly.

Yeah, but I know guys who think she's far too thin.  Women are supposed to be curvy, not have a flatter-than-a-pancake, concave chest??  Where's the fun in that?  :P

We thought it was good and didn't realise it was based on a non-fiction book!  :)

I don't discriminate on the basis of weight; hotness is decided on a woman-by-woman basis. :P

You might also enjoy Generation Kill, which was an HBO miniseries based on Evan Wright's Iraq War book of the same name.

Generation Kill was on channel FX I'm not sure if it is still on if it is I'm sure it is about over.

Over Her Dead Body on Sky Movies Premiere I thought it was pretty good.  ;D [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

It ended about a week ago.  Don't know if they'll replay it.

That sucks because a show called the Border on FX started a week after Generation Kill so that means my show is almost over.   :(  :P
