season 1 of west wing - my partner and I are addicted, it has become our nightly ritual to watch one episode (sometimes 2) each night while in bed before we go to sleep. Since I'm doing my masters in int'l studies and I worked for the gov't, it really intrigues me.

DH and I have made it through West Wing seasons 1-4 and have started back again.  And we're watching Alias season 1.
had a bit of a wobble.

Crash. Very heartily recommend it.

Abandon. It's pretty good. It's a few years old I think. Katie Holmes, Benjamin Bratt and some cute Heath Ledger look a like guy are all in it.  :D

As a West Wing addict from the very first episode (I have them all on tape and rewatch and rewatch them ad nauseum) enjoy seasons 1-4...5&6 aren't of the same quality...Sorkin's leaving really shows. So far season 7 is better but am waiting to see how John Spencer's death is handled.

Thought provoking with a great soundtrack to boot.

Hero

This movie preceded The House of Flying Daggers, but I think it was after Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon(movie title?).  In the end, Hero had a decent storyline.  DH really liked it, but I just don't dig these martial arts -- people dancing-on-the-rooftops-&-flying-through-the-air-kung-fu-&-fighting-with-swords movies. ::)

The Ode to Joy scene gives me shivers every time I see it.  It's just so heartbreakingly beautiful.  Too bad the rest of the movie was so-so.

White Noise

It wasn't very good, as far as movies go, but the idea behind it still freaked me out.

Not a DVD or video today, but did go see The Chronicles of Narnia after my dentist appointment today. I decided it was best to recuperate in the cinema for the first half of the day than go to work and be numb and unable to talk. lol

However, I did watch (for the zillionth time) Die Another Day with dh. I’m sure we watched a few more this weekend but it seems like a blur. I’ve must’ve had too much novocaine (which incidentally has made Green Day’s song “Give Me Novocaine” pop into my head. LOL)

Cellular... it was ok. Not bad, but not great either.
