I'd like to see that as i've read alot about it when the story came out. It just sounded so horrific. :-X  Not sure I could sit through the documentary though i'm sure they didnt play any footage or audio from the end....

They only have audio of his and his girlfriend's last moments, and they didn't play it in the film. They said no one should hear it.  :-X  It was a pretty interesting documentary, mainly because of how mad the man really was.  [smiley=mad.gif]  It gave the impression that he never needed to be there to protect the bears, although he was convinced he needed to be there for them. It was more like him needing to be there for himself, if anything. Definitely worth watching, IMO, and not gruesome at all.

Not gruesome, certainly destressing.

In fact, my acclimating the bears to humans, he probably did more harm than good.

I just watched Wisconsin Death Trip.  It was really interesting.  It is not a horror film, but is based on a book, which was based on a local paper from the late 1800's.

It just went through all the crimes in this tiny, not very populated area of Wisconsin.

We had a serial window smasher, a serial barn burner, a number of murder suicides, a number of mothers killing their kids and one case of a 13 yr old and a 10 yr old who ran away, killed a local farmer and tried to live in his house by themselves.   As well as a bunch of people being locked up the depression due to mine failures and bank closures.

Children of Men - meh, it was ok. Not enough plot development and ending was pretty disappointing.  :-\\\\

Also, Billy Elliott, which is FAB!!!  ;D

Eagle vs Shark - funny.  :)  Though I couldn't help thinking that Jemaine Clement was essentially playing the same character that he does in Flight of the Conchords.

I agree, however watching it with my bf (who is from the North) I got a lot more out of it than I did the first time.  :D

Yeah, DH's dad was a coal miner and the family went through the miner strike (he was about the same age as the character, too), so it really helped me imagine what his childhood was like. Plus we could recognize a few places as part of it was filmed in Ashington, which is nearby, and there were some other bits of Northumberland in there, as well.

The Dark Knight which neither the bf or I were that entralled by or "The Dark Sh*te" as the bf dubbed it.
