Bright Star. Never again will I watch a romantic period drama with DH if the lead character's name is Fanny. He didn't stop giggling through the whole movie!  ::) :P

Yeah, it was funny, but it did kind of kill the mood for me.  :P At one point, the mother tells this guy to come back and "marry my Fanny" and I thought DH was going to fall off the sofa he was laughing so hard.  ;)

Tsotsi, which was a South African film about life in the ghettos outside of Johannesburg. It was good.

Also watched I've Loved You So Long, which I also liked.

We saw Tsotsi recently and I think we have I've Loved You So Long on tape (is it French?). Liked Tsotsi very much. Poignant.

I'll be watching Bury My Heart and Wounded Knee: sick again and will be snuggling in a blanket on the sofa after lunch.

Coke nearly came out of my nose.  My dh is just banned from period dramas anyway.  He spends the whole time sighing, rolling his eyes, and being a grump.

While I was not sleeping I watched Battlestar Galactica Season 2.  NBC's get around for cursing is driving me crazy and I'm not sure how much longer I can handle it.

Yes, it's French. It was good, but very slow and I felt it was a bit predictable, as well. But I did like it.

Brotherhood - a South Korean film about two brothers fighting in the Korean War. Very moving. DH even teared up a little, and he never cries!

I think we do have it. We have loads of French films for practice! Lucky I am less interested in storylines per se, but the development of my vocabulary!  ;)  :P

I might watch 24 Hour Party People later if I get what I need to get done and dependent on energy levels.
