Red Shoes
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Red Shoes

Alicia, was that in honour of Moira Shearer, who just passed away the other day?  That's an amazing, almost surreal movie and she was heartbreakingly beautiful in it.

Many people have cited The Red Shoes as their inspiration for a career in dance.  You never know!  I loved it when I was younger, too...though I never danced, LOL

Re-watched one of my all time top-10 fave movies...The Piano -- DH had never seen it...

And, as we couldn't get the subtitles to work on the DVD, it was really REALLY annoying 'cause that missed out knowing what's being said in all the bits with sign language and the Maori language. [smiley=bomb.gif]
