Clockwise.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.

Her portrayal of Mammy is quite good -- like the bits where she's trying to talk some sense into Scarlett's character, reminding Scarlett that Ashley is Melanie's husband & so forth... :)

That's what the Academy thought, too!   ;D

I watched the Keira Knightley Pride and Prejudice.

Worst. Adaptation. Ever.  Boring, anachronistic garbage, and Keira Knightley made Liza Bennet seem like a spoiled, snotty, miserable jerk.   And Mr. Darcy was a weak little babyman.

We saw a film last night that I really enjoyed -- it's a one or two hankie film though...  It's a Dutch film called De Tweeling (Twin Sisters) -- in Dutch & German (with English subtitles).  Anyway, I really liked it -- DH liked it but thought it was a bit of a chick flick.  Here's a Beeb review & synopsis of it:

I've been sick so I've managed to squeeze in 3: Hotel Rwanda, Vera Drake, and Walk on Water. All very good but not exactly cheery fare.  ;D

Reminds me of one night in college when we had the brilliant idea to watch a double-feature of The Color Purple and The Last Temptation of Christ.  My head was a mess for days afterwards. :P

Holy cow!
And I had a night in college where I watched Frances and Sophie's Choice back to back.
I wanted to kill myself.

I can't even imagine... wow.  Just wow.  I still can't bring myself to see Sophie's Choice.  I know it (and Meryl Streep) are brilliant, but I just can't do it.

On a more "What the hell were we thinking?" note, my husband reminded me of what we chose to watch after our first Thanksgiving dinner together.... The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover. :-X

I agree, total rubbish, except for the pretty scenery.
