He should be just the right age for Dora the Explorer>:D (since misery loves company - I'm sharing a bit of mine)

Ugh, I hate Dora.  Why must the girl YELL all the time??  Fortunately, the boy doesn't care about her. To be honest, though, I'm happy to watch Blues Clues; it's a welcome break from the Island of Sodor.

As for more grownup movies, we watched Les Visiteurs last night.  If that's what's considered funny in France, the whole Jerry Lewis thing makes much more sense.  It wasn't bad, but it wasn't funny either. :-\\\\

We had a brief run-in with Dora a few years ago and then it was over and done. But I made the mistake of buying a Dora pack for Nicholas' Leap Pad and now I can't get that damned "I'm the map, I'm the map, I'm the map, I'm the map, I'm the map I'm the map, I'm the map!" outta my head. The writers are definitely on crack.
I know I'm late - where's the booze?

To my very pleasant surprise, a lovely little gem of a film called "Gettin' Square" from Australia, with David Wenham (FAR from Faramir) and Timothy Spall.

Sweet, dramatic, surprising, and very funny.

I rented it just to watch my David, and ends up I'm gonna buy it I loved the whole thing so much.

Watched this today, really great movie!

NYPD Blue, series 3, episode 47 ' One Big Happy Family'.

Medavoy and Lesniak pair up to identify who's launched a series of vicious attacks on a man. James returns to duty. Simone spots a possible suspect in a series of rapes. Russell tries to maintain her sobriety and it is tested when her parent's domestic problems get out of hand. Lesniak makes it clear to Medavoy she likes James as a friend only, and tells him she is gay, which he tells to James.

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

You should start keeping a list.  That way when she's in her teens and tells you how all the movies you watch are crap, you've got a little payback ammo! ;)
