Molokai: The Story of Father Damien

Not great, but interesting - enough to make me want to know more about the real person.  Stellar cast; I was surprised I'd never heard of it.
(David Wenham, Sam Neill, Peter O'Toole, Leo McKern, Derek Jacobi, Tom Wilkinson, and even Kris Kristofferson!)
Hollywood, CA -> London, UK 2004
London, UK -> Long Beach, CA 2007

Best 3 1/2 years of my life!

Getting through the Firefly DVD's.  LOVE IT!!!!!!

We have to order Serenity before it's all over.

YAY!!!  So, is the theme song stuck in your head yet?  I actually wound up downloading it since I kept humming it to myself. :P

ETA:  Watched Brokeback Mountain over the weekend.  I want to live in an Ang Lee film - they're just so f**ing beautiful.

I feel that way too.  Brokeback Mountain was filmed where I grew up.  It made me feel very homesick.  Sigh..

You Canadians sure got some purty mountains!  I can't even imagine living somewhere like that, must've been fabulous. :)

On the flight to the US, I watched Rumor Has It (Jennifer Aniston movie) and most of that Fun with Dick and Jane movie (correct title?).

We watched the first Lord of the Rings movie at my brother's house -- which I'd not seen any of them, and DH has only seen the third one.

On the flight back, we watched The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: Chronicles of Narnia.  The flight attendant pronounced it the Chronicles of "Nar-neen-a" -- which made the entire plane of mostly Brits snort with laughter. :)

That's how the light gets in...

Please, can't get rid of it!  Finished last night.  I can't believe it's over, I feel cheated.  Ordered Serenity last night ;)

I agree about Brokeback, man that scenery is amazing.

I've actually seen it already.  Saw it in the theater when it came out.  LOVED IT!

Ah, well then I can say this:  I was mad a Joss for almost a week!  I love that he throws in all sorts of twists, but the man needs to stop killing off people I like!!!  I still haven't forgiven him for killing Tara in Buffy. >:(
