We watched "Cousin Bette" with Jessica Lange, Elisabeth Shue, Kelly McDonald(sp?)--from the movie called "The Girl in the Cafe", and the guy who plays in "House" - dang can't remember his name!  Liked it but didn't understand it sometimes.  (Lots of Englishmen in it---so how could I not like it?!)

Hope I can still rent DVDs in the UK if we move...love my Netflix (have almost 200 movies on the list).  Yes, I do still have a life!!!

Syriana  Excellent but fast-paced and, at times, a bit difficult to keep up.

Crash. An intense film....wow!

I didn't much care for the film, at first.  But by the end I was in tears!  I don't know what's come over me.  I was a blubbering wreck.  It was almost as bad as 'Truly, Madly, Deeply', which I first watched whilst on pain killers from having wisdom teeth extracted and I was almost sick for crying so hard.

Lucky Number Slevin.  I liked it, though a bit predictable.

The Squid and the Whale, which is an amusing movie about a dysfunctional family.
