Stanley Kubrick weekend on TCM...last night was The Shining..years since Ive seen it, what an awesome movie.  Tonight is Full Metal Jacket...

Tonight is Full Metal Jacket...

There's a guy I went to high school with who appears in Full Metal Jacket.  He's just a tiny part that you barely see (among the group of men).  Still it was the coolest thing anyone from my town had ever done. :)

Crash. An intense film....wow!

Yes it was. I had thought no one else saw it. It was the most shocking yet heart breaking story. When the little girl was shot I cried. It was such a good movie. I now know why it won so many awards.

Thanks for the warning.  I'm going to give that one a miss.  There's no way I can stomach films like that anymore, no matter how good they are.
