Fiancee visa - accomodation question
« on: November 12, 2005, 06:37:06 AM »
Hi there

I'm currently living with my parents and this is where we will be proposing to live on our Fiancee Visa application. There are sufficient bedrooms for all of us (although from what I've read, our immigration would be happy if we all slept on the sofa as long as it wasn't being supplied by the council!), but this property is rented and not owned by my parents.

Would I need to obtain a letter from the Landlord of the property, or would a letter of consent from my parents be sufficient as permission to temporarily reside?

Any help would be fantastic.

If your parents dont own the property, you will need to get a letter from the landlord stating that you and your fiancee have permission to live there.

Thanks very much for that, the Landlord is a really nice guy anyway so I'm pretty sure we won't have a problem at all.
