Hershey's/Reese's in the middle of nowhere
« on: November 12, 2005, 11:21:52 PM »
I stopped at petrol station just to use the loo three weeks ago, Texaco/Londis just south of Stow-on-the-Wold on the A429 (Fosse Way) in Gloucestershire, middle of freaking nowhere, and low and behold, next to the till, 3 packs of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! I took all three of course, those are my one "food that I miss most". I stopped in again today, and they had tons, the kingsize 3 cup packs for 65p each, as well as Hershey's Cookies and Cream, and Chocolate and Cream.

I only make that journey a couple of times a month, but that was a find that makes that trip so much more worthwhile!! So if anyone else is running down the Fosse Way with a hankering for Reese's, you might want to stop in there. If you're craving them anyway, PM me and I'll pick up extras to post to you. ;)

Our ASDA has the large Reese's 4 packs. They always have them in stock as I dont think they are very popular here.

We have a kind of cool 'county store' here in Taunton - hardly a bastion of ethnic food of any sort - including asian (but that's another story). I was thrilled to find Reeses and Hershey there though I have to say I don't buy them often.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
