paying for e-fastrack

I'm confused....

I've read that you can pay for the fiance visa on line. I'm now at the payment, and it gives me 2 options. 1 to pay by post which it adds $12 for postage or 2 to pay in person. I'm going to NY for my visa appt next week, so there should be no reason for me to pay for postage. I would also like to pay for it on line before we go, as I read in a previous thread you have to wait in another line for in person payments. Does it take you to another option to pay on line after selecting one of these 2 options (in person or post)?

Thanks

That's odd...I paid online. Maybe they've taken away the option for some crazy reason? I can't imagine them doing that but I don't know. I don't remember a "pay by post" option when we did ours (may have been there but don't remember it).

I'd just go ahead and pay in person if I were you. In Chicago it didn't seem take more than two minutes for people to go through the payment line.

Ok, I actually feel really stupid and embarrassed now, LOL. I think just finally getting to the end of this application and seeing the total dollar amount with out actually reading what it really said. -slaps self

"Please select how you will submit your application. Note that some submission methods incur an additional cost for postage. "

DUH! ;D :-[

Thanks for the reply Among_the_stars.....I just can't seem to read tonight  :-[ I'm so embarrassed! Knowing I'm at the end, or very close to it. I misread and thought I was at the payment, how will you pay rather then how will you submit..
