Where was it that they found those poisonous spiders in the grapes...wasn't that at ASDA or was it Tesco's?

Oh GOD, I don't even live there yet but I'm definitely staying away from ASDA now!  Seriously, I don't think I'll get the rat in the gherkins out of my head.  LOL :P

Good new! I just opened a bag of raisins from ASDA, and they were great. Seriously, the best raisins I have ever tasted. From now on, I will only buy my raisins at ASDA...and occasionally a rotting chicken and moldy mince.  :)

So funny! Because the ASDA that delivered my shopping was about 10 min from Leam. Spa!
Consider yourself lucky  ;)
Maybe Ill come do my shopping in your neck of the woods from now on!

I am sure that is the one I go to. You should come join me for a shop, just make sure you wear your sterile suit so you don't catch anything. (I know that is horrible, but I always wait until I get home from there to shower  :P )

Well, I went to our new ASDA today and.....I liked it. Good selection of produce, not restricted to 'traditional' fruit and veg but a nice, wide variety, well stocked. Nice bakery section and the meat and deli section looked good. A lot of offers are ongoing, which helps, and not only did it appear that much of the stuff I used to get when it was Safeways is still available, but a lot of other neat stuff too. Betty Crocker cookie mix, and big jars of crunchy peanut butter.

Not too interested in their clothing range; that section of the store reminded me of the Big W.

All in all pretty good. Thumbs up from me, now I just have to wait til the crowds settle down after the store has been open more than a week.

OK. I'll be there! I won't bother showering either till I get back. We'll blend in with rest of the ASDA  B.O.!!
Have you been to the Arena Tesco yet? Its really nice. Its MASSIVE. There is a NEXT there, a Borders/Starbucks, M&S, Boots and even a small public library. It's just less than a year old so its all very nice!

Yes, the Ricoh Arean is next door to the shopping. I was at TK Max last weekend. The one at Central Six. Is that the one youre going to? I found a pair of tall black leather Mexx boots for £49! Very lucky as I never find anything in there! I also went to Outfit which has several stores inside...Dorothy Perkin, Topshop, Wearhouse, Burton, Wallis and Evans.
Let me know if you want to meet up!! Its just 5 min from my house :)

That would be great. I will let you know what day I am planning on going, or PM me and let me know what is good for you. I was planning on going next Friday, but it turns out my guy is taking the day off and (he doesn't know this yet) I am dragging him to Ikea. So, if not next week, the following, for sure.

OMG! You sound EXACTLY like me!! Frank usually has Fridays off and very often I plan a trip to IKEA for us and he doesnt know it till the last minute. If he did he would have volunteered to work!
Did you know they are building an IKEA in Coventry!!?
Let me know. Fridays are best for me and my weekends are usually free.

An Ikea in Coventry? That is great. The Marketplace is my favorite. It is really the only place outside of Sweden to buy Swedish food. ASDA certainly doesn't have any, except for maybe Mad Cow Meat Balls...Swedish style.
