Coolness!  I've already got my Wilkinet en route.  Aillidh wasn't a baby who wanted to be in a sling, swaddled, etc. but she was also born in the hottest summer on record in Britain.

We went to buy a mattress for this baby's cot yesterday, and saw the CUTEST little blanket for swaddling - it was called a BonFit Blanket.

Didn't buy it, though, b/c don't knwo what this baby's temprament will be like, but it was adorable.

Not so adorable was prising Aillidh out of the Little Tykes car she wanted to make her new abode . . .  ;)

Yes, I saw that.  She's right around Edinburgh too!  And if you go to this site:  http://www.brightspark.wahmall.co.uk/traderplus/index.php, she is selling ready-made slings for about £14 a piece.  If she puts up any of the fleece pouch slings in size small, I'd be very tempted at that price....

I think she may be selling at a shop called SeeSaw in Broughton Street, where they may have a small to try on.  I might have a look round there tomorrow, anyway, if I feel a little better - this last bit of the pregnancy isn't so pleasant - b/c it's a great shop just to have a browse in.

I've walked by there!  I should go see if there is a small, just to try on.

Poor thing....I remember that last bit of pregnancy.   :(  Not looking forward to that part!  But if the last few weeks were comfortable, we might not be so eager to get those little ones out!

But if the last few weeks were comfortable, we might not be so eager to get those little ones out!

It's a fun wee shop, and the staff are extremely helpful.

The other night, I dreamed I was in labour, in a birthing pool, kickin' a*& and thinking, 'Yay!  Soon I won't be pregnant anymore!'   ;D  Here's hoping that is a reality soon.

It wasn't so bad when it was the first, but Aillidh is really blossoming cognitively and she's on the go 24/7, me lamely chasing behind and her chiding alternately, 'C'mon, Mummy!' or 'Wakey, wakey, Mummy!'

this wilkinet ROX!  she can nurse in it, too.  lol!  it's a hands free kit.  i can kick back in a chair whilst she snoozes and read a book.

i'm lovin' this!  best £20 i've ever spent.

i wish i'd tried this sooner.  she's in here now, zedding away.

omg, this is the s*&t!

I've got a sling if anyone wants to buy it off me!! I really wanted one but when I got it I could never get the hang of it and Ethan just kept trying to get out anyway.  PM me for more info.
