Hospital
« on: December 07, 2005, 06:19:23 PM »
I was admitted to the hospital for dehydration.  It was a very interesting experience.  All is ok with the baby, that is the important thing.  I am hoping that there will be no more hospital stays until the birth.  Anyone else have to be admitted to the Hospital during their pregnancy??

Oh no!  I'm so glad you are OK!  I've not been hospitalized, but I did go a month ago due to problems.  Was not very impressed but hey.

I hope you are feeling better and drink more!!!!!

Numerous times, unfortunately!  Hope you feel better.

I, on the other hand, had really positive experiences.  I was admitted this time round at 13 weeks w/gastroenteritis.  NHS24 made me an out of hours appointment - at midnight.  I was vomitting blood, so was immediately admitted.  I got my own room, had a drip, and a heinous injection to stop the vomitting.

Felt MUCH better the next day and went home a day later.

Glad to hear the baby's okay.  Now get some rest!

In the US, I was hospitalized for dehydration with my first pregnancy.  I'm glad to hear that you're ok!

Thanks everyone!  I think all the illness and lack of sleep from last weeks family illness must have caught up with me.  I had so many injections to stop vomiting, my illness just kept going.  I am tired, weak and so glad to be home.  My hubby is off to America next week for work, so I will be on my own with the two boys.  I am hoping it will all go well.

Aw, Maddie!  Have you got any support nearby?  Are the boys on the mend?

PLEASE try to rest up between now and when your husband takes off.

There's nothing worse than getting over-tired when you're already ill.

Thanks for your concern :)  The boys are back to being healthy, so this is a good thing.  I have some friends who have offered their assistance if I need it.  Very nice to know I do have some support.  I will rest as much as I can till he leave Monday morning, he does not return until Saturday.

How are you feeling?

Please don't feel badly about asking for some help w/the boys for a bit whilst you have a nap or a rest.

I'm looking forward to having the baby here, still the same w/the sinusitis.  Just learned to sleep whenever I'm tired during the day and then it's not so bad when I can't sleep at night.
