How funny that I responded to this the day before I found out I am????  And, it was this post I was reading that made me think I'd better do a test....  Otherwise, I would have chocked it up to bad PMS!!!

I know!  If I didn't know my body very well (like the fact that I'm NEVER late) I would've thought the same thing, too!  In fact about a week before I tested, my hubby says to me "Oh here we go with the PMT" after I cried over X-Factor!!

Had my appointment, I am officially almost 6 weeks pregnant with a due date of 10 August! We are over the moon! My first midwife appointment is 30 December and I'm so excited as hubby will be able to attend. Having some soft period-like cramps but GP said this is completely normal as long as there's no spotting/bleeding.

CONGRATS!!!

I'm so glad you mentioned this as I have these as well!  I was a bit worried, but wonder if I was having psychosomatic (?) symptoms!!!  I"m finding that in this gap between when we've found out and my Dr. visit, I'm playing mind games with myself!!!!!

I'm sure my mind will be much more at ease after Monday!

I was very worried during my pregnancy as well. Especially when I had to go back to the states for 2 months for my visa. And without health insurance,no one would see me. Some people may look down upon this, but a few times I went into the ER  pretending to have pains just so they would see me & check me over, just so I knew I was okay.

Thats whats bad about the states,if you have no health insurance..you're screwed.

I found out I was pregnant in the US.  I was worried, because I had a few problems.  I called my travel insurance and basically they would not cover anything unless I went to the ER.  Well, I didn't want to do that so my mom booked me in with her Dr who only charged me half his fee, bless him!  He also wrote a few notes in case we wanted to try and claim it.  (Never did, I wonder if I should have?)

Carly, I don't look down on that at all.  I'm sure I would have done something like that if I was worried.

i had cramps throughout both pregnancies and am still having them now.  one of those things no one tells you about.  like being a human milk cow afterwards . . .
