i'm trying to weigh out what seems better, chiropractorty (?) or accupuncture. and i remember i had an ex who had back neck/shoulder problems and he went to a chiropractor and he was in a lot of pain after the visits (but it did eventually get better). accupuncture doesn't seem as expensive as i would have thought. i need to discuss it with my other half.. i would have loved to have stayed in bed all day today.. but i couldnt! =(
sigh..

Hi Lunar:

Sorry about your back problem, no pun intended but I feel your pain.   ;) I have  suffered from a herniated disc in my back now for 13 years.  I have good days and bad days.  I am not limited in my range of movement or physical ability at all.  It is just very painful at times.  An osteopath that I go to here in Belfast suggested  I purchase a TENS unit which is Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation.
I bought one for 30 GBP and it has helped immensely.

You can read more about it here and decide if it is right for you:

Perhaps it will give you relief until you can get into the physio.  Hope this helps.

Rose

Accupuncture, all of the way.

My mom's scleroderma has improved so much since she started. She used to have an awful chronic cough and chronic pain, but she says that she feels 1000% better since starting.

I always felt so adverse because of the needles, but her expericene shows how great alternative treatment can work for some. Please try it!

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.
