48 hours left!!!
« on: December 17, 2005, 12:10:54 AM »
So, I haven't seen my boyfriend in six months, but he'll finally be here on Sunday! YAY!!!

I'm ridiculously excited of course, but I can't enjoy the anticipation to the fullest as I'm *still* not done with finals (will it never END??)  I take my last one tomorrow afternoon, then fly home from NC Sunday morning- Tom gets to Texas Sunday evening.  I think it'll all hit me in a rush after I take my final tomorrow- it still doesn't seem quite real that he'll be here, and I'll actually be able to touch him..wow.  It's been way too long.

Am a teensy weensy bit worried about him getting through US immigration, though- I know it's like a 99% chance it'll be absolutely fine, but I hear all the denied entry stories...sigh.  He's only staying for two weeks, obviously has a return ticket, and got a letter from his uni saying he's a full time student, graduating in 2006, yadda yadda.  He'll also have $200 in American cash on him. He'll be fine, right?  He's planning on telling the whole truth (that he's here to visit his girlfriend) so that's why I was a little worried...

I think I'm just in stress mode right now- I took two exams today so my adrenaline (and caffeine) level is super high...worrying about every little thing!  But that'll all be over in 24 hours, and in 48 hours he'll be here!!

Pretty good, thanks for asking :D  He's here, and it's been great so far except he now seems to have the flu, poor thing.  He's up to a 102f (38.8c) temperature and isn't feeling so hot, but I'm glad he's here anyway. We're going to try to make the most of things even with the flu stuff- after all, he's only here for 9 more days  :-\\\\
