I can so relate! Before we were married ,our phone bills were so high,his highest was £400. my highest was $1000.
If it helps you any,before I left America , I found out Verizon offers unlimited call time to the UK for only $20 a month.

oh my gosh, will have to call them, we have verizon here, but didn't realize it would be so cheap, my highest cell phone bill has been about 900.00 for the month, way too much on a budget

The verizon package is for landlines,not cell phones.

yep, i figured, i have tried to quit using my cell for the international, but work odd hours and sometimes it is the only way to get in touch, let each other know what's going on.  Sucks though, $0.26 per minute jeesh someone is making some money!!

Just want to add my 2 cents.....we use google chat, there is no delay in the voice chat, real time and it's free, if any1 needs a google mail account invite i have 99 more invitaions left and will help with any desk help.

Down to 5 days left and can't stand it.  Starting to pack, nerves are so on edge, we're bickering bout the stupidest things and new years eve was crap.  There, feel better now, sorry had to vent .

Thanks!  We just talked for a couple of hours, made up and made up our minds to stop this stupid arguing, will have to see what tomorrow brings, moved up plans for moving by months, we have decided we just can't take another four months this way. So feel loads better, now just nervous/excited bout getting on the plane.  Down to the last few days and they are always the worst.  Hope when your time comes, its a damn sight easier!!  Now we just have to sort out the next set of plane tickets and a flat and a hundred other things...where's that magic wand when you need it !!

Stupid, isn't it, we did it before, and im sure the weeks before the move are gonna be a bit tense, but i still dont understand it, im not sure if its the stress and the anxiety, nerves or what, but as soon as the plane tickets were bought, it seemed to start, so silly.  Working so hard to be together and then arguing about it!

I'ts the overwhelming feeling of missing some1 u wait forever to be with.....it's natural. I have a friend who is a shrink ...and she atributes it to spilling over of emotions and not knowing how to deal with it. Talking helps.....so anytime..k?

Thanks so much for the offer, i'm sure to take you up on it.  It helps to have other people who know what i'm on about when i get upset.  People around me understand to a degree, but if you haven't lived it, you can't know how it feels.
