Good grief. Poor woman.
My son was 10 lbs. No drugs. Natural birth, and I thought he was a big ol' MONSTER baby. . .
OVER 14 lbs?!?!?!
Madness. :o

Here's an article from the UK about the country's 2nd biggest baby: http://www.newsandstar.co.uk/opinion/viewarticle.aspx?id=277574.

I'll be happy with one half that!

OMG! Celeste was only 8# with 14" head and chest and I ended up with a section! Can't imagine a bigger baby!

A good family friend found out a little late that her son was too big.  She'd already got the head out when they realized his shoulders were too wide, so they had to break his collarbone to get him out.  He's in his 30's now and we still poke fun at him about it.  ;D

He was fine and healed in a week or so.  His mom said she was so drugged up (remember, it was 30 years ago) that she didn't feel a thing.

But, yeah.... ouch.
