Andrew seems to be very popular as well. I think I know about eight different ''Andrew's'', including DH.  :)
My Jack is also Jack Andrews so I guess he has two popular names

Are all of these the given names on birth certificates?  It seems like the new trend in the US is to just give babies names that used to be considered nicknames (like Jack).  Looks like there is the same trend over here.  Do that many people put names like Ellie and Katie on birth certificates?

My Jack is just Jack. Not short for anything so that is the name on his birth cert.

I'm really into unique names/spellings or uncommon names. But not too unique like "Moxie Crimefighter" though, lol. I went to school with a guy named Orion. I love that name, but hubby said a firm NO on that one , he said if we named him Orion, he'd better come with a belt  ::) :P

I have a Jackson, I like his name.  There are a few Jacks at Ashtons school.  The name I hear the most for boys is Thomas.

I've always liked the name Emma, I don't think its as popular now though.

DH chose our daughter's name- Alix Victoria..I like the variation on the spelling and its not short for anything. Just Alix.

I chose our son's name- Dominic Christopher. Christopher is after my late brother and Dominic, funnily enough, is from the movie Kindergarten Cop! ;D

Emma is massively popular in the US.  I think a lot of it is because they named the baby Emma on Friends.  I love Emma and really wanted to use it if we had a girl.  It was my great-grandmother's name.  Fortunately, we had a boy and it was a non-issue. :)
