cricket?!?
« on: December 24, 2005, 08:50:23 AM »
is there any way this sport will ver make sense to someone who did not grow up with it? ???

whenever someone tries to explain it they have to use terms which also make absolutely no sense to me, and then get caught up trying to explain the explanation!

I do not see how baseball ever evolved from this! The only commonalities I see are a ball coming at you which you whack and running (albeit in different directions)

If you want to come to London in the summer or spring, I will explain it to you & it will make sense!  I actually play with a ladies' team and my boyfriend plays on a mens' team.

Hmmm... :-\\\\ I don't really care for cricket myself.  I like to watch footy, but I'm not into cricket at all.  Jamie has explained it to me, I understand it, but I still don't want to watch it, which is OK with him; he's not really into cricket either even though his dad played on a local team for years.
I was born in the Summer and at Night...my mother named me AUTUMN DAWN.  True story.

Jamie's...beyond the stars and past eternity.

EMAIL or PM me for information about gigs or about booking me (solo gig) or the band.
