Not just that, but you could also do the rounds buying 2 packets of ibuprofen at each store all day until you had hundreds of them! It's a completely nonsensical law.

I did just that!! Except it was 4 packs, two paid for at one counter, and the other two paid for at another counter in the same store!!

Do you know which ones?? i didnt see them in the Harrogate store

DH says they are in the stores that carry the full Waitrose line. So they should be in all of the large ones....

I think the idea behind it was that it would prevent some suicides because it's a hassle to go around collecting and also forces you to think the plan through because it forces advance planning. I agree that it won't do a thing to stop someone who is hell-bent on killing themselves or who has been plotting to do it over a period of time though....

One of my friends in uni who lived in Texas a few years growing up said whenever he visits the US, he stocks up on millions of bottles of Ranch dressing and Chewy Chips Ahoy. Can't get those things here.

I found Newman's Own Ranch Dressing when I was in England last. It's not my favorite brand, but not bad at all if you really want ranch.

Morrisons has an absolutely gorgeous ranch dressing ... it is in the produce/salad section, and tastes just like Hidden Valley.

I don't think it tastes anything like it. I found that the Tesco branch was good though.

But I'm spoiled, my parents send me Hidden Valley Ranch packets every now and then. I'm even getting my sister to send me a load of Taco Bell sauces which leads me to what I miss...

Taco Bell. I know that in the last 3 years I've been here I must have mentioned it about three times a day but I do really, honest to god, miss Taco Bell. I had a horrific hangover yesterday and phoned my sister to say hi and she was in the car picking up a Nacho Bell Grande. I would have paid big money to have been able to crawl into that phone and grab it. I think Taco Bell is just my comfort food and, god damn, I miss it.

But, getting those taco sauces helps make my bean burritos taste a little bit more authentic.

I used to miss Jack in the Box as well but when we were back in the US last year, it wasn't as good as I remember it being and that ruined it for me. Their buttermilk ranch sauce is good, though.

Do you not?  ???
I thought it was reeeeeeally good!
But you've probably tasted real HV more recently than me, so it's maybe fresher in your mind.

I know!!!! I totally miss it too!! The bean burritos, and do they still have gorditas? I used to love those, or the chalupas......mmmm.....someone posted once awhile back a copycat recipe for the red taco bell sauce....I've totally been meaning to try it, but keep forgetting. Gosh, now I'm totally hungry.
