Which PEO to visit for FLR(M) application?
« on: December 24, 2005, 05:37:03 PM »
Hello all! I hope everyone is having a happy/merry Christmas...

A couple of questions:

1) Is there a PEO anyone would recommend? In looking at the IND website, all PEO's offer FLR(M) service.  I live in Belfast, so all four (Birmingham, Croydon, Liverpool, Glasgow) are across the water but still accessable. Are any of those cities easier to navigate than the others?

2) Does my wife need to come with me?

3) Do I need to stay over night, or can I/we return the same day?

Thanks much,

Nx

public enquiry office.   sorry- as i've never gone for a FLR(M) I can't answer any of your other specific questions...
If you harbour bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I applied for mine at Liverpool---found it nice and easy. You don't need to stay over night but allow a few hours. Assuming you are the one applying for the visa your wife does not need to go with you.

Good Luck

A colleague of mine in Northern Ireland went to Liverpool - flew over with EasyJet in the morning and returned in the later afternoon. No problem. There are also cheap flights to Glasgow.

I used Liverpool also. My experience was fine.

I went to Croydon - wouldn't really recommend it. Traffic was a nightmare, parking was expensive and even though we had an appointment it took FOREVER.  :P

Not knowing Liverpool at all, we managed to get there, find a parking garage one block over from the office.  So, very easy to find, etc.  Parkign was not outrageous...
