I hope you start to feel better soon. Can you try some of the nasal sprays? My midwife said they were ok for allergies, but I'm not sure if they'd do anything for a cold. I've not tried them for allergies, I freak out about paracetomol...

Mine is: went to the biiiiig Asda on my lunch break since they are having their baby sale and my vitamins are £2 a pack. I missed one bus, the next was late, the stop was miles from the store, they were out, they've apparently stopped carrying kraft mac and cheese, and then it started raining on my way back to my office.

Drawers in freezers.  I just want to be able to shove everything in there like a game of Tetris or something.  Stupid drawers force me to organize and take up valuable shoving space.

I also have a headache, which is probably why I am feeling so much hate for the freezer.  :P

I hate my freezer too, but for different reasons. It's not even big enough for drawers! Just today I was slamming the door shut and cursing it!

I found a gorgeous pair of brown suede boots at Nordstrom and bought them.  This morning I went to put on the left boot and it wouldn't go all the way on.  >:( It fit fine in the store! This made me twenty minutes late for my coffee date.  :( I took them back to exchange them for the next size up, but the right boot is missing in the store.  :-\\\\ The salesgirl and I spent an hour walking around the floor looking for it.   ??? So, we located it in another store and they're missing the the right boot, but have the left one. WTF? Really?  And they won't know until tomorrow if they can ship one boot.

I know this is a trivial issue, but I luuurve those boots.

I ordered a phone + accessories off ebay, and the seller of the phone was actually cool and shipped it quickly, meaning delivery was attempted today. Of course, I was off having surgery all morning, so I missed it. They can reschedule delivery, but not before Saturday. Really?! No one will be delivering packages tomorrow?

Not a huge deal, but I wanted tomorrow to be my "sit around the flat and do nothing but recover, and play with a new phone" day, and now I'll have to wait around here on Saturday, too.

I really don't like it when I've spent time on correcting mistakes that were entered into a program at work and then someone goes in and changes everything back to what was wrong in the first place!

Not to mention, it seems like everything that is electronic will work around me for everyone else, but when it comes to my CEO things just seem to go wrong.  I handle the mobile phones for my company and I had to move his number onto a new phone he received.  Normally, that's simple and the phone works a charm...BUT, of course with HIS, it had to reboot and return to factory settings after our IT Dept configured it to what he needed.  Makes me look the fool!   :-\\\\

And...I'm getting a cold on top of it!

Sorry, just needed to vent.  Thanks!   :)

Had a caudal epidural yesterday and the injection site is still sore-hurts to sit.  Wasn't supposed to drive today but what do you do when your 9 year has a doctor appointment?
Oh yeah, Mom is still here...now I get to hear about how she hates everthing about England and all English.   :-\\\\

Another one for me...

Had eye surgery today, which (I think/hope) went quite well. Now, though, I basically just want to keep my eye closed constantly. I've already napped, and there's not much else you can do with one eye. :(

Come on! There's plenty to do with one eye!

Head to the park and wink at hot boys
Practice for International Speak Like a Pirate Day
Get a monocle and walk around pretending it's 1920
Um....

Ok, so maybe there are only 3 things! ;D Seriously, though, hope you recover soon! How long did the dr. say it would be till you could use both eyes again?

My IA- dealing with the d*mn heat/humidity! It's endless. It's making me so lazy because I don't want to leave my house or do anything at all. I feel like a wet, limp noodle in this weather.

Haha, I think the hot boys would be weirded out by the giant plastic thing taped to my face. As for #2, said plastic thing is clear, which limits my ability to impersonate a pirate, sadly. #3 sounds fun, though!

Technically I can now (I just have to wear the shield until morning, and then whenever I sleep). I just keep opening my eye a bit, blinking some, and then wanting to shut it again. It's also still a bit blurry, either from the anaesthetic or the fact that I now have a chunk of plastic in there that my brain's not used to yet. I'm hoping by the weekend it will feel/look more normal, especially since I'm not due for my follow-up appointment for 3 weeks.

Ugh, I hate heat/humidity. :( I hope things cool off quickly, though if GA's anything like NC, it'll be October before it's actually "nice" out again.

BF keeps talking about moving and bringing up all of these houses that are up for let and I just don't want to think about it right now.  I have a dissertation due on the 26th, we have no car yet, no money for furniture or a deposit anyway.  Can't we just wait 3 weeks and worry about it then?  I don't need anything else stressing me out at the moment.  Ugh!
