The one point of light today was that we saw Jeremy Clarkson lurking around the embassy, waiting for it to open. He looked really crabby, which made my morning!
Are they going to do more shoots for "Top Gear" in the US then?  Apparently the TV visa (or whatever it's called) is only good for informative programs so the last time they were shooting they had to cut out all the silly stuff (which Clarkson loves)

Sorry about the kidneys, MLG. Are you seeing anybody at Jimmy's for it?

A killer headache.  Made me have to go home instead of getting a pint with some friends.  grrr.

I considered that for a minute, since it usually does help, but this is one of those sharp behind-the-eye kind of headaches and all I could think about was getting into bed with a packet of ibuprofen and a cold washcloth. Bummed.  :(

DS having dreadful time trying to find a doctor who will take MassHealth insurance (he's unemployed) and take new patients. One doc. who does take the Mass insurance has added a new partner so the office told him to wait until he started. He checked back and made an appt. for Thursday but has since been told that new guy is not on the Masshealth list! So sounds like they've cancelled!! I'm worried he's going to have a nervous breakdown by the time he finds a doctor. This is getting to be a "Worse than ..."

BostonDiner: I'm sorry to hear that he's having a hard time finding a doctor.  I have a friend who works in a pediatrician's office and she said MassHealth can be difficult.  I'm sure you've probably already tried, but their customer service number listed on the mass.gov website for MassHealth is 1-800-841-2900.  Perhaps they can tell you which doctors in your area are taking new patients under MassHealth.

Best of luck.

Next door's kids climbing on our shed roof.  Grrrr.  They're about five (twin boys) and should know better.  I don't want our shed broken or God forbid one of them getting hurt.  First time I saw one (through branches as we were sitting outside having dinner) I said loudly "You better not be on my shed roof kid!".  Ten minutes later I hear rustling and walk over to see the other one standing on either the brick dividing wall the shed butts up against or something they've pushed up to it.  "Do NOT climb on my shed or I WILL tell your Mum." I say in my best Early Years Practitioner voice. So far no repeats but who knows now that we've come back inside to watch Fifi before Jean's bath.

Oh I can commiserate on this.  My BF has an apple tree that hangs over his fence into his garden.  It's sort of shared between 3 gardens.  The neighborhood kids like to climb it and then chuck apples at the surrounding houses, despite the fact that everyone yells at them about it.  It's all I can do to not declare all out war and start chucking apples back at them!  :P

We went on a narrowboat day trip on Saturday and some idiots were chucking apples at the boats.  Morons!

Thanks. I just love those posters on the T saying you can choose from zillions of doctors with MassHealth. Hah!

My sister got really lucky and her family doctor was accepting MassHealth - so since she was already a patient with him, and at the time was pregnant, so she could switch easily
However, what she struggled with was getting a dentist- her dentist didn't accept it and she struggled to find anyone who would take them - I  even now she has one, but hates him, but can't do anything about it  :-\\\\

Good luck to your son, nothing like worrying about when you can see a doctor  :\\\'(

Drowning in PreK, preschool and medical forms. And that's just for the kids. I've got my own including child support, doctors referrals, and job apps.

Ugh.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Oh no! I really hope he is able to see a doctor soon and get the help he needs.  :-\\\\ Fingers crossed for you!

My IA: I'm healing up and feeling a bit better, but there still seems to be some obnoxious irritation going on that just won't go away. Another hospital appointment tomorrow. Sigh.
