I hate packing and moving. BF and I are going into a temporary flat today for a few weeks as we search for our next flat, so that'll be two full moves in a very short amount of time. I'm supposed to be writing my dissertation right now but simply can't focus on it because when I'm not packing, I just want to relax! I wish I could just wave a wand and make this stuff pack itself (and perhaps make that dissertation write itself, too, while I'm at it)!

Aww, I know that feeling all too well.  :-\\\\ I hate it! Hope it goes speedily

Walking to work in the rain and having motorists drive through puddles which end up splashing and soaking you through.   >:(

I love the rain...especially after the humid weather we've had, but jeez...why do drivers feel the need to blast through puddles when they see the person walking...evil, methinks.  (I say that because this morning I had at least one person actually LOOK at me, but luckily they aren't the one who got me.   :))

You are so pretty and talented and smart!  [smiley=hug.gif]

Mine is recently realizing that my hair is not as thick as it once was.  When did that happen?  It used to be super super thick and wavy, but now it's just moderately thick with hardly a wave or curl to be found.  :-\\\\ Oh well, at least I'm healthy and at least I *have* hair.  :)

we'd been offered a moses basket stand from someone on freecycle. I arranged for pick-up yesterday and when my husband went to get it they weren't home and they didn't answer the phone either.  We don't drive so he had to get a friend to take him and not only wasted his time, but his friend's as well.

Oh and then they called me back later last night and pretended it was the wrong number and wouldn't tell me who they were!

I'm so done with freecycle.

Can you report them to the moderator of your local group? I only had good experiences when I used Freecycle in England. It's a bummer when people ruin it.

Aww thanks my dear  :-*

I was just feeling frustrated because my bike seat kept sliding down this morning when I was riding to work - and I know its because I'm too heavy, not through the fault of the equipment.

Oh well at least I was on my bike in an attempt to do something about it  :)

I've got a Mama's & Papa's stand that you can have - we binned the basket ages ago but the stand is still in great shape...Plus some older clothes (12 m -2yrs) for a girl if you're having one. They're in great condition and we were going to just give it to our charity shop but if you want it you can have it. I live just outside Derby City Centre so not too far away.

I'm having a total meltdown and feel like I might vomit due to nervousness. I thought I was going to lose it in the Council Office because they said the Job Centre was supposed to fill in Housing Benefit, and they didn't, and then they said Fast Track is actually going to take 3 weeks or something like that, plus we have a two bedroom since DSS stops with us every other weekend, but we will only be getting benefit based on a one-bedroom. I guess since he doesn't live with us full-time he is supposed to sleep on the floor when he's here?! I made this comment out loud in the Council Office and now DH is all pissed at me saying I was rude to someone who was trying to be helpful to us. I can't help it, I've stayed so positive up to now but now I feel like I'm just gonna lose it altogether. We are arguing over whether or not to pay some stupid bank loan our of our overdraft and I just feel like everything is so freakin' bleak at the minute. [smiley=bigcry.gif]

So sorry Jewlz.  :(  You and hubby will get through this together, try not to argue, I know it's hard in times like these when there is so much stress.  My thoughts are with you!

Awww, cheer up, Jewlz. I know, it must be horrid and dealing with all the bureaucracy is bad enough in the best of times. I know I'd be blowing my stack.
