Ugh Jewlz!  The boy mainly recruits jobs down here but I will tell him to keep his eyes open for positions in Newcastle. I don't understand why he spends all day frustrated trying to find people for positions, when there are so many people out there jobless!  :-\\\\

I really wish the woman yesterday hadn't told me to mark my calendar because it was a 9 out of 10 chance I was going to get the job.

Aww, Jewlz!  *huggles*

I hate it when people do that!    >:(

So sorry you're having such a tough time Jewlz.  I had a similar job thing happen to me about a week ago, after 3 interviews!  It really sucks, but at least she had that much confidence in you to say something like that.  It just means it's only a matter of time until you get something great!  :)

Didn't get the temporary office job I really wanted. I really wish the woman yesterday hadn't told me to mark my calendar because it was a 9 out of 10 chance I was going to get the job. I'm so gutted right now I can hardly stand it. I should never get my hopes up. Lately, every time I do, I get kicked in the teeth. I can't even help feeling sorry for myself. And to top it all off, my boob is f'in playing up again, so I will probably be back in the hospital getting another procedure next week.

Aw hon - I hope it gets better soon.  :-*

Ohh Jewlz! I really hope something works out for you soon. (HUGS)

My IA: Got the keys for my new flat today. Went in and started looking things over and there is quite a bit that needs fixed. The agency didn't let us move into the flat right away because they needed 5 days for inventory, etc. It doesn't look like they even bothered to do an inventory considering the cold water tap in the shower isn't even working and several rooms smell of mould. The agency even says that they require you to have professional carpet cleaning upon move-out, which certainly did not happen in the case of the previous tenant.  >:(

UGH. Finding a flat was hard enough, why do they have to make moving in so difficult? It could be such a nice flat if there weren't so many little things wrong with it. I start a new job on Monday and if I have to go on my first day without a shower, I won't be happy.

I'm also struggling with the fact that I'm leaving London to live in a small country town. I love London. (Okay, I'll be working in London, but it's not the same.)  :\\\'(
I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.' Kurt Vonnegut

Probably cos you don't rinse your dishes. ;) Seriously, I hope it doesn't develop into something worse. :(

 ;D
I still feel rough-the girls are off school and  slept until 8:20, I NEVER sleep that late!

PB and BD I remember working in office cubicles...everyone knew your business and you knew theirs.  I hated it.

Thanks, everyone. I'm feeling a bit less upset about it today. With a bit of luck, I will be starting work at the restaurant soon and things will get a bit more positive.  ;)

My IA: Have to ring the hospital back on Monday, as my usual nurse and consultant weren't in today and they want me to speak to them before making an appointment.  :-\\\\

Also, I have booked an appointment with local nurse at the health centre this afternoon due to worrying changes in my cycle. My whole life, it's always been a certain way, and the last two months, it's been totally different (barely there and no cramps!), so I'm a bit concerned about that. Maybe it's just down to stress.  :-\\\\ It just seems strange...

Update: Apparently this is down to the chronic breast infection (which they say has likely affected hormones, which affect cyclical changes and the pituitary gland, etc.) and they think my monthlies may even stop altogether until the infection is totally resolved.  :o Maybe this should be an IA / UP?  :P
