I totally hear you, I think I was up 3 times with heartburn last night (not counting my trips to the toilet or just not being comfortable)

My midwife actually said that for a lot of people Gaviscon doesn't work, and supported my method of treatment with Nesquick and milk :)

When are you due?

Mine is:  I hadn't even left the office today before my boss was offering my desk to someone else.  Makes you feel like you'll really be missed.

We've just moved into our new rental house and the place was FILTHY. :( Bleech. We only had about a day between the point of picking up the keys and the mess of the contents of our container being delivered, so now everything is disorganized AND dirty.

And despite the fact that this is a non-smoking let, the previous tenant was obviously a smoker.

Oh, and old windows stink. I'm sooo cold.

Finding out last night that one of my best mates at work just up & quit yesterday.  She just decided not to go in yesterday & quit!  I feel bad because I didn't realise she was that fed up with stuff at work.   :-[

She had returned from a two week holiday recently, and you know how it always sucks to go back to work after vacation, but I had no idea she felt like she couldn't go on there.  Work has been pretty crap for awhile, but it did get a little better in the summer - the problem is that lately we have just been worked off our feet as we have much higher than anticipated volumes & not enough staff to cope.  Now we have one fewer still.

I'm really going to miss her.  :(

My left knee is excruciatingly painful and even with doing low/no impact exercises and RICE'ing it regularly it's not getting any better. I don't want to go to the Dr.  :\\\'(

I'm so tired of caring so much for other people, just to get sh*t on in return. It happened back home, and it is happening here. I think I'm destined to have no one but my husband here, and my 2 closest friends 3000 miles away.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

Huge hugs. This has happened to me recently as well...I'm so sorry, it just makes you feel like crap and it's very isolating too.

-hugs- That is precisely how I feel :( I always expect the good side of people to shine through. Unfortunately that just isn't how things work... I'm sorry to hear you have had similar problems recently.

Hopefully the GP will give you some solutions or answers! Feel better ;-)

Huggs pl...I feel you as it has happened to me as well.  I decided if they dont put effort, I dont put effort. Friendship is a two way street and you seem to be a good person and I am sure you will find people who qualify as a true friend here.

Yeah, I've learned not to force something.  Let it go, scratch it up to experience, and then by making room in your life by letting it go, new people will enter--supportive, positive and loyal friends!

My IA is feeling dehydrated again.  What's up with it?  I don't think I'm eating too much salt and I'm drinking two liters of water a day.  ???

The other IA is dinner last night.  I love my MIL and she means well, but the chili was horrible.  All gross kidney beans, giant hard bits of corn and enough chili powder to dissolve anyone's intestines.  Even hubby was up in the middle of the night with a sore tummy and he likes it hot.  I only took one tiny bite and it nearly burned my lips off my face.  I've been telling MIL for three years now I *do not* like things very hot.  Finally after last night she heard what I've been saying.  (We had to find something else for me to eat)  My lips are still sore today.  :(

Awww (((hugs)))

People suck and get too caught up in their own lives and are just shitty-users-posers. However, don't despair- good people will surprise you when you least expect them to.   :)

I'm still feeling semi-blah. On the plus side, eating regular food doesn't seem to be a problem, on the downside I'm still constantly feeling queasy. :( This has been 3 days now, I expected to feel better by now (or worse, but not still 30% sick).

Thanks to everyone.  :-* your comments helped a lot. I don't know why I let it get to me so much. Over and done with now.... New IA- My netbook stopped working today.  ::) DH is going to take it in to see if it can be repaired tomorrow, but if It's too expensive I'll just have to get a new one. Lucky It's not super expensive. But really irritating. I take that one to work with me!

Burning out. Too much work, too crazy, stress, pressure. Need a freaking break.

Also Evans released the coat I've been waiting for for WEEKS and it's awful, nothing like the PR shot at all. BOO!

How is this
