same story, different day
Everyone eating dinner at 5pm and DH and I just had lunch at 1pm but will eat dinner now with the kids so I am on my own again...

I think I need to adopt a family to eat dinner with every night

Why don't you and your husband just have a cup of tea or something and sit at the table while the kids eat, then you two can eat dinner together later? This would totally annoy me.

It is my only real problem...
1. We dont have a table
2. I work for a US company and my "office" is in the living room and so I work till approx 6ish

So I can't stop and I dont want to stop and eat now - I can't

Its not like this all the time but 70% and it is grating - I might just go to a friends for dinner.
I made a joke I would have to get new kids and a husband to eat with me since I eat alone for 2 weeks while he is gone ;-)

Come to Leeds - we don't usually dine until 8 pm or so!  ;D

My IAs...  DH is getting over a cold.  I'm fighting a touch of his cold that he gave me (will not get sick, will not get sick, will not get sick).  Overworked at work (on the days I work).  Tired.  [smiley=sick.gif]  And still loads to do to get ready for our holidays!  ;D  I really doubt I'm going to get much sympathy - certainly didn't at work.  :P

Sorry, I forgot you don't have a table! So, you're working an they're all sitting there chatting and eating?? That stinks! Sorry this is a stressful thing for you.  :( You can come to Dublin. We have dinner around 7:30 or 8pm and I'll even let you sit at my stool at the little bar-thingy.  ;D

Can I come to dinner in Dublin, too Bmore?  :)

If you're really hungry and in Leeds have dinner at ours first (around 7, then scoot up to Mrs.R's for dinner after 8!

I have a daily injection, which can sometimes be really painful. Not the needle, but the medicine itself. It can burn and sting very badly. Last night, it was fine. No stinging! And afterwards, I was laying there, when all of a sudden it started to sting so bad. So I said 'help, what's wrong??' and dh flicked my arm. Apparently there was an earwig on me? I didn't think they could sting or bite. But I felt gross for the rest of the night and have been keeping my arms covered up since...  :-\\\\ This is a new flat and it was in a state when we moved in. Who knows what else could be crawling around?

Got lost driving to the bank today.  >:(  I'd only been to the bank just the once, two years ago when I opened the account.  Never had a need to go again until yesterday.

We received a refund check for our tax disc because we sold one of our cars.  Is it a pain to pack the baby and his pushchair into the car just for a mere 5 minutes spent in the bank making a deposit?  Sure, but hey, that's life.  So there I am, driving around all these one way streets, with a general idea of where I know the bank must be, but I just couldn't find it for the life of me.

Why can't I make a deposit at a nearby HSBC cash machine??  Why? WHY???

I'm having some serious issues with my tummy this morning its either my medicines side effects which come an go willy nilly which the Dr said was normal or Aunt Flow is on her way either one is not all that pleasurable for me. ::)  :P   if I had to choose I wish it was Aunt Flow so she wasn't in town when I have my Dietitans apt in just under than 2 weeks time. that's another one the joys of having PCOS I never know when Aunt Flow is coming or if she is coming at all.  ::)  :P  even though yesterday was cheat day we had soup & toast for dinner so it isnt the aftermath of last nights dinner.  ;)  :)
