Don't worry about the weight. Income is a factor in the quality of the food available to you - don't penalise yourself over this. Get moving when you feel you are able to -  keeping active is more important than a number! ((hugs))

Feeling kinda low and blah.  :-\\\\ I'm sure it'll pass. A bit of TLC and time with others later in the week are things to look forward to.  :)

Thanks. I have been overeating, though, since I quit smoking and we lost our jobs, so that's really the biggest factor, not what we are actually eating.  :-X I am going to try harder to rein that in, as it's gotten out of control.

I hope you feel better soon. The change of the seasons seems to make a lot of people feel a bit blah, maybe that is having an effect on you? (((HUGS)))

:-\\\\
I weighed myself today and I've gained nearly 20 pounds since I quit smoking!  :o I really need to get motivated, just having such a hard time doing it, and I've been buying marked down food (more processed food than usual - pizzas, quiches, etc.) since we don't have much money for food.  (I can pick up a pizza for a pound or two, got some quiches last night marked down for 29p each, etc.) :-\\\\ It's hard to pass up cheap food when we aren't working, plus MIL brings food over for us that can be calorific and fattening, but it's free!  :-\\\\ It's such a double-edged sword, really.

Are you interested in doing the 30-Day Shred? My BF ripped it to the Apple TV so I'm not using the physical DVD and I'd be happy to loan it to you.

I was so excited when I got her email I could have done cartwheels  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] but she has gone an burst my bubble again!!  :\\\'(

:(  I'm sorry she's yanking your chain. That really sucks.

JennBean:  These were actually tights from Target but they had a raised pattern on them and the friction from my thighs wore a hole and then the friction against the edge of the hole...Yeah, no more textured tights for me  ::)

I personally think they should subsidize healthy, non processed food. it's horrible that processed crap is often cheaper than the raw ingredients. I would much rather buy fresh fruit and veg, but tinned or frozen is what we can afford. We have been eating tons of eggs lately because they are cheap.

think we have figured out the cat eating thing - he doesn't like his kitten food (I have caught the older cat eating it so I think that's where it is going...) swapping it, but he still stole the crusts from my husband's cheese and pickle sarnie. Going to worm him and see if that helps, even though there is no evidence of worms (he was at the vet last Weds for The Operation and they didn't think anything was wrong) if not, we just learn to work around him...

Today's ia: frontline combo doesn't seem to be working on the cats anymore.

Yes, I agree, it sucks when you can only afford the processed crap instead of the real deal. Fortunately my FIL has given us a lot of eggs and veg from his garden, so that has been helping keep us going without relying too much on frozen chicken nuggets.  :-X

Waking up at 4am and not being able to fall back to sleep, lying there feeling hot and stuffy and stuffed up.  Hope I'm not too tired later.

Another IA:  We didn't see Dylan the cat all day yesterday, and I miss him.  I hope he shows his furry be-whiskered face today.  :(

I'm on my way to work, and my left eye is really itchy. And try as I may to just dab, I'm pretty sure I have wiped all the make up off, leaving me very lopsided.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

I spilled red wine on the white sofa last night.  :-X

I can't be a*sed to do any work today besides homey stuff and I really need to!

Cats!  DS just rang to ask if he could put his down quilt in the dryer because dear Maxwell just upchucked all over it so he had to wash it!

My cat is always nice enough to jump off the bed first. I think it's easier for her to assume the position on the floor!  :P

DH getting into debate mode and refusing to let something go.  ::) He just takes the other side for the sake of argument when really he probably has no true opinion. Ugh!

Mine waits until I have a piece of paper positioned just right to catch it and then turns his head just enough to miss it...

Today: really wanted a pb&j sandwich for breakfast, but the bread I got yesterday had turned. Then I settled for having some cereal, but it had been put away open so it went stale. Settled for doritos.
